The M3 is a pleasure to hold it fits in your hand so well and has a significant weight which makes it seem some how more real than my digital SLRs

Lovely collection. Following my Rolleiflex find, it's been amazing discussing pre digital camera's with my 10 year old daughter - the look of amazement, when you explain the film had to be sent away for developing! Also that something can work and take photographs without electricity!

it is a miracle I tell you....

The first time I went in to the darkroom and saw an image I made slowly revealed in developer was magical. There is nothing like that in digital photography.

I used to use a Sinar 5x4 for my work camera, I'll dig it out and show a photo later. Black cloth on head and all that. :roll:
Now its a 35 mm digital with tilt/shift lenses, works just as well and saves the tennis elbow.
