Having worked on the rails for over 10 years I tend to favor rs clare XP788 slide and rail grease 
, think it may be domestically available.
used it for years in bottom brackets , hubs, headsets and any other contact/friction areas I can get it in, wonderful stuff, tis a bugger to wash off though , just what you need
Only downside is that it proper stinks
