Does passionate excuse rude?

Type, read, pause, read again, submit. No excuse.

Not at all, but then I haven't anyway, merely "my" reasons for casting "my" vote.

But to be fair History man, we arent talking about a mid level production bike you buy over the counter, we are talking an ENGLISH HERITAGE bike.

And im sure despite my view and public opinion, Adrian values it the same way I do, and regardless of my opinion of the details my "COMPLIMENT" to him for saving it STILL STANDS.

And I doubt he would ever sell it either.

FWIW i was going to vote for your lovely machine but then I noticed someone's done a cut and shut job on your chainstays and they just look all wrong

Huh :?: it's a bog-standard '93 Quattro XT frame and was actually NOS when I got it; exactly the same as the photo' of the standard bike I used in the build thread??

And I'm not convinced its actually a working bike as I just don't believe you can get that bottle out whilst pedalling

I know it looks tight but a quick twist to the right and it pops out just fine :p :D

But thank you for your otherwise kind words...

Sinnerman,

Shame I misread your 'tone' as being rude, condescending and critical with a begrudging compliment as an afterthought, possibly designed to aid your defence should anyone such as myself challenge your sniping.

If I'm wrong I apologise unreservedly.

Ooh hoo hoo!

David and Goliath according to RB!

Re: BoTM July '13 - Muddy Fox vs Orange vs Saracen - Vote No

And we know how that ended.

Mate its the internet, you certainly don't need to apologize, any more than I have to explain myself to a stranger.

Im far too long in the tooth, to worry about that, sadly for me I am into the details when saving such a bike, it would be like taking a first generation Ritchey saving it from Extinction and not taking the time to ensure the decals or colour code were right. Only its a British Bike, so hey does it matter...? perhaps not....? BUT TO ME it does.....!

Regardless I like Adrian, and am glad hes here along with others doing what he does for the British Revival, this one for me,was sadly my Ritchey.

that's all.

Some of us would like to behave appropriately towards whoever we interact with whether they be mates or strangers, virtually or otherwise.

I seem to remember your 'stranger' phrase from elsewhere? Are you a recidivist?
