During a moment of clarity: 'Faff'

Agreed, but possibly not as bad as flatscreen TV speakers though. Being sensible with space, and including a DVD player, what would you recommend, I see you're selling hifi, so maybe you could help?

Most of the cheaper bars use the same speakers as found in the TV's...

Small speakers and a powered subwoofer, much better sound quality and imaging.

This thread reminds me of when I use to work in the real world, ie. had a proper job etc..

On the wall of a senior manager was pinned a quote from Gaius Petronius, thus:

We trained hard ... but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.

Its all about the illusion of progress, the same as Faff. This country (and many others) has been practising Faff in its management structures for many years!
