ha,ha this is me Matty !! Fuel costs + table+ dont sell a thing + buy more tat + then take the Wife out for food to compensate for her sitting for a couple of hours with werido bike people . I think I will be better of tweeking bike and ride for the Sunday.

(I have put a load of things on ebay that could easy change things  )

Well, I went to my first ever bike jumble. Good to see half of Retrobike there as well! So what did everyone get? I went for:

Some nice new bars for a road bike, (don't know which on yet.)
A Cinelli stem, slightly longer than the one currently on the Graham Weigh.
Some tiny led lights in case I get caught out as the light fades.
A newish Shimano XT front mech. One of those with the band that tightens.
Mudguards. My first ever set! Off tomorrow to buy pipe and slippers.
A Shimano Positron 400 rear mech, cable and shifter.

I blame Spencer for the Positron 400!

The only bike I bought was one made in Uganda out of recycled tyre wire.

My first one too, was a last minute decision to go, managed to persuade my mom/dad to have the kids for the morning.

I got.....

A right hand M730 crank arm

M650 short cage rear mech

Front wheel comprising of Mavic M231 rim and M563 hub

Change from a tenner for the lot, including my entrance fee :D .

Nice to see a few of you lot there, when's the next one?

Me and the mrs was discussing this as they seem few and far between.

Why not start are own annual one??

Top jumble, I returned home with a pile of shit that I don't need bought with money I don't have. For reasons I can't recall, I turned down a Mavic headset and a sew on patch from the 1993 World Cyclocross Champs.

Next one is in Redditch at the start of March.

http://www.bikejumbles.co.uk/ there's a couple here that I might consider going to.

I could get into a lot of trouble if these were on too regularly, I've got an unhealthy amount of tat hoarded already.....
