For a second look inside my bicycle garage I offer this 1985 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra with a mix of Campagnolo and Dura-ace components.

She was a beautiful one, hardly a mile on her, but alas she was too short and so I had to let another love her. (sold as a frameset)

As per my post about the previous bike, awesoooome!!!!! Eighteen more to go, unreal.

It would be interesting to know more about how they were acquired and the useage they have had or are having!

To TGR, This bike is not part of the 20 or so in the garage because I sold it about 4 years ago. I bought it locally from a Craigslist ad rode it around for a few months and decided it was too small. I ride all of the bikes in my collection however a few, like the Bianchi, that are very old and original get ridden sparsely.

For the last couple of years I haven't the time to hunt for bikes so I buy off ebay.

Thanks for that, i imagine that you get more opportunity to ride them in sunny California than you would here in wet Northern Ireland!!
