this bike could quite easily be marked as New Old Stock its in such good condition and the original owner claimed he only rode it a couple of times before hanging it up in garage after having to have a new rr wheel fitted just after buying it !
townsend 531 butted 20 1/2" sized frame in a nice shade of puple colour with a few light storage marks and 1 larger area of paint loss just below saddle clamp slot in main tube . dates from mid 1990's area as hadlebars are stamped Neil Scott 1992 . And original owner thought he purchased it in or around 1994 .
12 speed shimano sis gear system with down tube mounted levers . thun silvara alloy crankset with HTI A19 pedals .
Polygon 590sq calipers fr & rr operated via wienmann levers that look older compared to rest of bike .
mixed width Rigida rims fr & rr , fr being a 13 x 622 laced on to an unbranded hub with quick release lever, rr is a 20 x 622 laced on to a Joytech hub again with quick release lever , both fitted with Michelin racer tan walled tyres .
85mm Kalloy stem and SR road champion drop bars ( no bar tape) , unbranded 26.4mm micro adjust alloy seat post with a greyish colour Selle Italia gel saddle with a very light scuff on rear face.
