Just noticed the canti rear/front v combo?

It works spot on as the Pauls crosstops seem to use a different leverage ratio to a normal V-brake setup.

Despite the Paul Crosstops looking like V-brakes, they are actually cantilever brakes. Originally inspired by the IRD widget brakes.

What is the ID of the BB shell? What bearings were you wanting to use?

Can you not pick a different set of bearing that will work with the Phil Wood spindle and also fit in your BB shell?

just curious.

Sure I have spotted on Fatcogs that the phil wood bearings dont use the circlip like the standard ones and someone had some problems with them. I did wonder if it might be possible to have the axle machined down a bit more.

Current bearings measure aproximately 15.84mm id for the axle.
