My Volvo V70 was great. The D5 engine is fantastic and the ride is very comfortable. The boot is huge and passengers have plenty of room in the back. However, they don't go round corners. Fact. Miss the torque but not the handling. My S-Max is great, how about a people carrier?

S-Max certainly likes the corners, until the snow!

I once got chatting to a Volvo driving copper at a service station. He didn't know much about the car but he said they were adapted for police use. They use the T6 petrol engine so the suspension is uprated for starters.
