The *NOT BORING!* Hi-Fi faff chat and sales

just picked up a technics sa x900l off freecycle with a panasinic jl 7 turntable. what your thoughts on these, also the tape deck on the technics is making a clicking noise as the cassette plays.

I thought I did well at £2.00 for this.This is before the clean up.It was badly nicoteened up so I stripped it and stuck it in the dish washer.Nice and clean now,with a lemony smell :D

Absolute 80s - proper retro radio, paradoxically on DAB.
 
Collected these today. Magneplannar SMGa the 'budget' panal speaker. Due to space or lack of it can't fit the legs so use the wall :oops:

The wife hasn't noticed them yet :LOL:

Shame not the grey/white cloth then would be perfect camo
 
Got my 'new' CD player today. Meridian 208 plus remote. Cost £1500 in 1990
It replaced my 207 pro player.
My retro hifi project is nearly complete. couple weeks and it will be :D
The wife is happy as its smaller than the Sony player. :LOL:
