Also I too never thought I would ever see an Englishman win the tour so am still in a state of shock and excitement amazement etc -what a tour and what a result overall

If ever a tour needed Contadors attacks this was it!

Team Sky was never really put under pressure!

No other teams really stood a chance. Gone are the days of jollying along on cruise control and having a good lunch before tackling a big hill. We need to have it wrapped up by teatime , thankyou!

i would not have picked him, my choice would be a younger ,cleaner man. but he did his time , and is a big anti dope campaigner . so perhaps it sends the right message
