$18,000 road bike

I'd never own one, road bikes made from carbon and thousands of pounds seem no good unless your doing time trials

Nice though
Can you describe it to me?
Stop if the first words are big ugly plastic 'me too' pile of zzzzzzzzzz.
Sorry!! I nodded off.

Sublime

Development team amongst the best in the world.

The attention paid here is beyond me,i mean theyve added speed, reduced drag....sorry,find it hard to put into words im just too overcome with emotion

but interesting they are still using spokes which look kind of out of place on that thing.
I think the forces or air movement that the spokes kick out doesnt affect the flow. The depth of the rim will relate to how the air crosses it and leaves its inside edge before contacting the blades
Should put a " :? " in
Fork rake and its width angles i say are crucial to this point........another ":? "

Im not a roadie, know nothing about roadies

OK they totally fked up on the skewers

Well I had a look at the Specialised bike.

Guess what?

More of my life wasted!

It's a modern ugly carbon road bike, like all the other modern ugly carbon road bikes I've had the misfortune to see.

You don't get this time back at the end you know.

Really??

Bugger

I understand what youre saying but we'd still be on horses if not for design and inovation.Im just saying with this bike its more about what mclaren know about the movement of air more than the aesthetic design of a bicycle. :)
Formula 1 cars certainly aren't pretty to look at

Don't hit me :)

The mclaren input is beyond the airflow aspect... from what I understand as an f1 fan, they redesigned the whole frame, and the way the carbon is payed up, to give more strength and less weight.
Mclaren have a few other companies that research and develo outside of automotive. Sports science, electronics, materials etc

Its not everyones cup of tea... but then If someone posts a link to a Brodie, Klein, or Dave Lloyd on another, similarly specific interest cycling forum, I would expect a similar reaction... "oh shit, another overpriced priced price of ancient technology with a gaudy paint job and not enough gears

It may have escaped your notice but... Retrobike!!

This is everything I don't like about bikes.

I have never wanted a bike as a tool to do a job, mainly because It's not my job. The day I wake up as a 21 year old Neo Pro in a world class race team, is the day I will look at this abomonation as anything more than just machinery.

I wouldn't hit you, I like you. Now your thinking, that's bloody worse.
