NOS '02 explosif

nice frame / tubeset, but is a frame still NOS when its build up once and than stripped of its parts

I got shot down in flames when I argued with a certain now departed member on here, about him advertising a frame as NOS when it had been built up and ridden for at least 15 miles  So just built up and stripped is ok in my book ;)

Surely NOS (new old stock) means just that, it's new so therefore unused, never ridden/fitted to anything, in it's original packaging and ideally never having been displayed or even touched.

This frame (as nice as it is) is not NOS. Granted I haven't been a member here for long but I do know what the words new, old and stock mean both individually and together in a sentence. The frame should be described as "shop soiled" or something like that.
