Hi all ive just got a 19" easton elite framed marin rocky ridge off ebay thats done hardly any miles at all in its life.
anyone have any knowledge of how good theese frames are as depending on opinion depend what i do with it.
the frame seems very light even complete with lx and old school stx rc hubs and retro manitouforks the whole thing weighed 22 pound without the peddles.
it seems much lighter than my gary fisher big sur frame and my easton elite gt zaskar race frame because there less tubes and theyre not as fat tubes
so basically im just trying to find out if anyone has opinions as to wheather theese frames are known for failing or not
all the welds are perfect no dents or anything as its not had any use i was gonna take the laquer off and get it anodized maybe use it as a road bike as i have three really good mtbs already
