Sad news

I was watching this afternoon live when it happened. The few brief shots shown before they cut away once they noticed how serious it was, showed it was clearly severe.
Very Tragic.

Really bad news, you don't expect this of cycle races. Will be a sombre rest of the race.
Reminds me in part of a race where I was doing race service, there was a crash on a fast decent and one rider just lay there motionless. I approached with a lump in my throat, but was mighty relieved to see him eventually move, nothing broken apart from his bike thankfully.

Back to racing today............I'm tryin' to catch the last hour of the flat stages- caught most of the strada bianche.........absolutely bloody Tonto!! :p

I see Millar is moanin again  bloody always got an excuse.

Any news on the rider that fell heavily towards the end of the stage? After Monday's tradegy you could hear the panic in the commentators voice when he first went down and didn't move for a while.

Was it wrong of me to be a bit disappointed that it wasn't raining for the strada bianche like last year?
