Don't Mountain Biking, Skating, Surfing (Kite, etc...), Boarding et al kind of all cross over? They're all niche sports that are not understood and consequently frowned upon by almost everyone who doesn't take part, mainly because they're all purely about FUN!

Taken in isolation the ad's above are gruesome, taken in context in their time people went out and bought it - and the T's still aren't that bad today... ;)
