Man Flu is the most dangerous virus known to civilization. Apparently approx 50% of the population suffer from it. Whilst the other 50% are totally unaware and unsympathetic to it's sufferers.

I've been looking for 'Hughie' and his brother 'Ralph' who both live in my toilet. Was back and for on the hour all last night. My other half has kicked me into the spare room where I ended up having a fight with the duvet for 6 hours (I lost :( )

At one point I had a bit of a Ewan McGregor moment and actually saw things that I haven't seen since 1991 after dabbling with certain illegal substances in Newquay. I'm now too Ill to go to sleep and am sat in bed (spare room :() moaning and groaning to myself. (and I aint watching Youporn!!)

Why haven't we found a cure for this yet!! To cap it all I've now got a dodgy guts and it's my blo*dy days off. Great can't even have a day on the Queen  Don't know if its Swine Flu, don't matter what it is, all I know is that I'm Bad (pronounced Bard for all those non Welsh folk)

I've dosed up on the Paracetamol and am now waiting for round 2 with the Duvet. I'm going to get the b*stard tonight!!

Its not pleasant - it could be Swine flu

you feel better after about 6 - 10 days with a nasty sting in the tail

takes about 4 weeks to actually get it out of your system

Felt rough on Wednesday, spent Thurs & Fri in bed, and now feel relatively human again.

Was meant to be heading out to do another section of the ridgeway today/tomorrow but I think I'll be forced to pass :(

You know it even affects the female of the species - I caught manflu from my husband - at least that was what he called it. He had a week off work and is still suffering a week or so later.

I was back at work after a weekend feeling rough!

Hmmm, doesnt sound like Manflu CAS :?

I think what you may have experienced may have been a cold, the flu or at a push swine or bird flu.

Women cant catch Manflu, it is a male only virus, women arent built to cope with it. Their bodies are only built to cope with the added pressures of running around after the male species when we are struck down with the deadly virus.

been coffin n sneezing for 2 days ....fully expect to be dead by wednesday due to severe manflu-itis.my eyes are sore and ifeel like crap with onions for eyeballs...was made to drink liquid green goo today to "make me feel better"....her words i may add.....stuff was so foul i forgot about being on deaths door for at leeast 20 min........dont ever try boots flu strength liquid green crap...even at gun point ...i prefer the headaches.

I think it's actually men who aren't built to cope with it - hence the fuss most of you make when you get it. And as for running around - it's a good job you don't live in my house - my lack of sympathy is legendary!

Maybe I have a faulty gene - might explain a lot!

Man Flu is and always will be a mystery to those of the gentler sex. They can count themselves lucky that due to their female persuasion they will never have to suffer this malady. They should just make sure that sufferers are approriatley cared for and sympathised with. :)

I've actually pulled through, (the wonders of modern medicine and Lucozade). God I've been ill. Really, really hope no one get this. It hit me for six and would have wrecked Xmas if I'd had it next week. I also missed my works social gathering on Wednesday and also getting hammered on Black Friday :(. But I also missed the hangover from Hell today and saved being a fair few quid lighter in the pocket :)
