Windows 7 or vista..?

Hi to all
I am planning to buy new laptop.But confused little which system to buy.So please share your experience so i can get some ideas.which one is better..?

There really is no point buying vista for home usage now. 7 is reportedly what vista should have been.

Get one with Windows 7 on if you have to choose.

It's much faster than Vista (both in operation and booting) and MS are bringing out an XP compatible mode for it soon so you can run older games on it.

Windows 7 is ace. Starts up and shuts down quickly, looks and feels like Vista but runs quicker.

...don't know about 7, but Vista sucks...

Why not XP for a while ? At least it got rid of childs desease.... as long as you can speak of 'got rid'... update after update..

Vista was only ever a 'trial' programme. Now they found out how bad it was, got rid of all the useless stuff, slimmed it down, made it run as it should and made Windows 7 out of it.
Nice of Bill Gates to use the public as guinea pigs though and not profiting at all out of it, not
