the project's been kyboshed.
still, wonder if there is a way of using a cam belt from something and welding appropriately teethed rings to the crank and rear cassette...

What a wonderful little thing - 6kg, belt drive, moveable pedals for short/growing legs, brilliant!
I'm hoping to do a belt-driven bike in the future, but at the moment finding anything affordable doesn't look like much fun...
