I ran across this photo today. It was taken in june of 1979 and shows the state of the art in off-road as it was at that moment.

From left, Alan Bonds' Excelsior klunker conversion, my Breezer #2, Mike Castelli's 1979 Jeffrey Richman and Gary Fisher's 1979 Ritchey.

ha! never knew breezer had played round with long middle tube things in his frames! You still got that or long gone?
 
Ignore me I'm a tit...just noticed yer other post which mentions where the bike is now! Think I should start reading a bit more...

Its great to see good quality pictures of proper retro mtbs.
