Torn down, frame and fork matching numbers, not that my shitty iPhone pictures show much!

New parts....

the m730 crankset was 180mm but sadly the threads were stripped on the drive side, had to ride it around unbolted to get it off....

swapped the orginal rings over on to a set of 175 cranks and cleaned them up.

seems okay despite losing the 5mm

also the wheels are a total change, were campag beta on XT 730 but spokes were banjoed

i have had these mavics sat around for 3/4 years waiting for a build and i think they are lovely on here so was no issue to stick them on

i'm no fan of slicks but the clearance on the frame and forks is tight (as you can see from the paint loss) and didn't have any 1.5-1.7 knobbly tyres, but did have the nimbus you can see in the photos, so put them on for now

i have also now fitted a shark fin and ODI grips.

also stuck a set of BR60s brakes on there, it was wearing its original black XT m730 canti on the front and a ropey V on the back end.

the upside is that the saved black XT is perfect for my Overburys (U on the back)

Retained parts

the XT mechs, brake levers (new rubbers), and the XT thumbers all removed, cleaned and put back on

then all the cool finishing kit, 3T seatpost, turbo saddle, Odessey stem with the funny cam thingy all cleaned polished and put back on

also nice set of Avenir pedals, clips and straps, just washed and put back, very nice. LHS a bit stiff
