I picked up a 90's Giant Cadex out of nostalgia. I had the exact frame from Junior High through College, where it was stolen. Was so pissed.
I finally found one on eBay and got it for a good deal. The few decades this particular one has been exposed to the elements has resulted in the breakdown of the clear coat. It's flaky enough that I can peel some off with my fingernails. I wanted to know if there was a better way to clean this up and refinish the exterior?
