Car boot sales can still throw up (in every sense of the word) interesting old stuff.

Full Deore II (for the 1989 model year only) except the wheels

Under the grime and rattle can black was a tidy structurally sound Columbus Cromor OR frameset and a stuck seatpost

Fudge...

Two weeks soaking in my secret recipe and the post comes out with a loud crack - 25.4mm, thats good, got loads.

With everything greased up and new cables its off we go to see if it is any good

Thumbs up! A stable nimble ride, bumps soaked up by the steel.

It will keep me happy until the next one.

I know its a daft place to put a brake but aesthetically I really like U brakes under the chainstay :cool:
 
Hello, the real commercial name is Tracker rather than Trekker.
Since Motobécane was renamed MBK, this name was synonymous of the top of the range of MBK mtbs, equipped with Deore XT.
