3D forks would be great on this project. I'm in the U.S. so shipping would be expensive. Thanks anyway. There were some deep scratches so I started out by using my friends bench top mounted polishing wheel and went through the different polishes on the larger surfaces. That wheel was too big to get into the tight areas. He also has a pneumatic dremel type tool for his air compressor. That helped with the tighter areas. Then I went over the entire frame with autosol and hand polished. I have about 2 hours into that process. There are still some scratches that show through but it's a 27 year old frame with lots of miles on it. I'm not willing to spend the effort to make this one perfect. Besides, it is a handmade frame that wasn't perfect when it was sold.
