1992 Nishiki Ariel - finished p2!

Just picked this frame up yesterday! I think it's from 1992, but am not sure about it. What do you know about these frames.

It's in pretty good condition and needs a good clean first. Thinking of building it with complete XT and some Amber Tioga Psycho tires? Should suit the brown frame!

Here are the first phone pics with some wheels I had in the shed. Have to change the crank!

Put some parts on it; NOS Tioga tires, Turbo saddle, Ritchey stem and XT crank. Just to see how it looks!

yep........that's a keeper for sure.

great colour too. understated and classy.
always loved the nishiki straight blade forks too.
look like they mean business.

oh, that's lovely. really like the brown on that frame and those tyres look good on that. you should consider a brown saddle and grips to go!

looks like i have the same fork as you but in white. really like the look of it, and was curious to know where it original came off of, now i do. it's currently not on a Nishiki as you can see. :roll:

Nice one Bart. Not sure about the choice of tires. But thats me, havent seen much bikes wich suit the amber Tioga's.
