One of our local bike shops, called BIKE and Avon and Somerset Police were doing their bit to reduce bike theft in Bristle today by giving out free datatags and anti-theft advice at the Galleries shopping mall in Bristol . Some of the main culprits are...

The Redland Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a FREE cycle tagging event at the below locations on Thursday 17 December 2009 as part of Operation Relentless. They have recently received some more electronic cycle tags which can help them to identify lost or stolen bikes using the immobilise.com website. These tags are normally £14 each ( plus there's the fitting cost ). The Redland Neighbourhood Policing Team will be offering these tags plus fitting free of charge!!

Horfield Common (car park area next to the Ardagh Centre) from 10am to 12noon.

Somerfield Petrol Station, 106-114 Gloucester Road, Bishopston, Bristol, BS7 8NL from 1pm to 3pm

Clifton Down Shopping Centre, Whiteladies Road, Clifton from 4pm to 6pm
