That takes me back to the mid 80s when i had Falcon Grand Prix with a very similar setup but unlike the Sprint the crankset was painted in metallic gold which didn't take to kindly to slight knocks and the frame didn't like being used much as it were knacked after 12months but your dads old bike looks lovely and has lasted nicely any way GLWS and i hope it finds a good home ..
