I put this bike up for sale in this forum September 2012 and after a huge amount of mucking around and long delays the potential buyer dropped out. As it was well into winter by then I gave up on the sale and left the listing to fossilise. Since then it has sat in my nice dry bike shed and hasn't been touched so all the details are still the same.
I've decided I'm never going to ride it as it is just too big for me and I appear to have stopped growing about 40 years ago. I'm looking for £180 for it but I really don't want to post it given the hassle I've had in the past. The bike is in Suffolk but I do get about on business and I'm due to travel down to Gillingham, Shoreham and Boston Lincs in the next few weeks. Could meet up en route. PM if interested.
Spec as follows;
Nigel Dean frame Reynolds 653 f&f, 57cm ctc seat and top tubes. Frame is in reasonably good condition, paint has faded slightly on the top of the top tube and the lacquer has crackled somewhat in places. Several chips in the paint that have been touched up, few small spots of rust but nothing of concern. Second photo shows the condition of the top tube, looks worse than it is in real life in my view.
Wheels are Mavic GL330 tubular on Mavic hubs, screw on block on rear. Both true and in good condition.
Tubs are Wolber Neo Pro 18, slow leak in front I think, rear seems to hold pressure nicely.
Mechs both Shimano 105
Chainset Shimano 105, 170mm cranks, 53/38 rings
Shifters Shimano Sora 7 speed
Block is 7 speed 13 to 21
Brakes Gran Compe Royal
Saddle Selle Italia Turbomatic 3
