Braze-ons?

I'm being serious when I ask this so please don't roast me but just how bad is a steel seat post?

If you were round the corner I would come and look at the bike and after you had punched me in the face for the low offer I'm sure we could have a cuppa and strike a deal.... Buying blind is such a pain though....

Thank you for the welcome! As you point out I've just joined so I've no idea who this chap is and how reliable he is. No offence meant!

To be fair I like the attitude he's responded with and if he's still interested in dealing with me after the insulting initial offer I'm still interested if we can agree a delivered price we are both happy with..,

My modern focus is 58cm and I've got 11cm seat post showing. Top tube is 55 CTC....

My GT grade is 56cm with 13cm seat post showing....55cm top tube CTC....
