Re:

Forgive me for butting in, but what chainsets it for, a 7402?
If so then it's a 115 length (d-h marking) cartridge (un91) you need, or in the old cup cone its 68-w-112 (bb-7400)

?

Re:

feel free to butt in. yes, they are 7402 cranks and i currently have a knackered 7400 bb holding it all together. so you reckon a 115mm sealed bb unit for those cranks??

Re:

Mine is the 113,good to dig it out again will put it on the mtb site.

Re:

i think, after checking the clearances on my frame that it would cope with your bb no problem. how much are you wanting for it?

does anyone know what this unit weighs?

Yes I mentioned the 112 above 68-2-112, but that was cup and cone and the axle layout is a bit different.

they're the lightest UN made, about 255g claimed (above in the picture) but I'm sure my 107's where under the claimed weight. (220g ring a bell, and you've about 4 or 5 grams more on the 115.

not the lightes tby any means but for a bottom bracket that's last longer than anything, you can't complain.

My UN90 107 boughtin 1992 gave up (well a very slight bit of play) in ~2010. and tha was hard mtb for the begining of it life, storage when I wasn't rifing for some years and commuting again and mtb riding again....
