Forks: Steel, 1 1/8" Threadless.
Looking for a quality set of the above before considering saving to get some made.
Don't need to be cosmetically perfect as I'd get painted to match frame, as long as free of dents, rust, damage etc.
A decent quality light-ish steel would be good.
Ideal Specs are...
Wheels: 700c
Braze ons: Mudguard eyes, maybe rack mounts but not essential
Clearance: for at least 25c with mudguards or bigger clearance okay.
Steerer length: Pref uncut. Needs to be at least 290 - 300mm.
Fork axle to crown: 275mm - 280mm.
Brake: Allen key. To work with 57mm brake drop or under.
Rake: 45mm rake/offset min. 50mm ideal. No straight forks.
Crown: Flexible, just not an ugly unicrown! Needs to look good with a fillet brazed 'lugless' frame
