2001 Specialized S-Works FSR XC - Maximum Tyre Size?

Hi,

I have acquired a 2001 Specialized S-Works FSR XC and want to put a good set of tyres on it, probably Maxxis High Roller II but I'm not sure what the maximum size tyre the rear can take. The Maxxis tyres are 2.3", anyone running these or this width?

Don't want to spend a fortune on tyres and them not fitting.
