I think this bike was meant to be a low budget muck about bike. Yet again, i've found myself faffing with keeping it period or type correct, maybe I'm more OCD than I give myself credit for... hmm
Odd thing is MTBing was way off the back burner in 1997 for me so is a black spot.

It's blue and red stickered mk1, silver d521's and black rigids. V brakes, so starting to be more retro
In stock options are: DMR Moto and Minion, A Panaracer XC Fire if i can find it again, a bunch of proper retro tyres, or maybe lash out on super new but super retro look Charge splashbacks in gum wall.
Probs going to do all of the above just curious now, as many of you were there!

Cheers

I had a mk1 trailstar, tyres choice was of course IRC missile, and later IRC Kujo.
I'd stick the DMR Motos on it, the splashbacks would just look wrong IMO on this frame.

Thanks Stevet, that was my niggling thought too. Splash backs are a bit XC for this.
I'm sure I have a brown wall IRC I tool off GF's Merlin, sure that was skinny XC though.
Hmm
