Any Rockshox Boxxer Experts Here ?

Question is I have is I have 1 pair of 6 inch boxxers and 1 pair of 7 inch boxxers, I would like to put the 6 inch 99 lowers in the 03 7inch fork can I just swap them straight out and it will be fine ?

I know there was an adjustment that made 6 inch boxxers 7 inch anyways but it was only an internal adjustment.
 
The fork stanchion are the same length, the inside of the lowers look exactly the same even the bushing size, the only difference is the size of the hole on the bottom of the lowers and the thread length which has about an extra 4mm.

not to sure about the lowers but i know quite abit about the blackbox tuning they did on the old forks, really easy to do, i might even have some old the old blackbox valves if you want one
