Overburys Fell rider in Leeds

Oh, really nice. But such a short TT ...

Shouldn't be a problem Marco, the angles are super slack on these (check the seat tube). I'm almost interested myself but have enough projects on :)

It was the cheapest of the Overbury's range in 1985, being 501 tubing, but interesting to see how the geometry is evolving towards the Pioneer in 1986, with the lugless front end, sloping top tube and offset seat stays....just needs the longer top tube and 13" high BB.

All the best,

Thats something else I currently must consider, also there are many nice bikes/frames on the market right now. :)

Re:

I was very, very, tempted by this.

Luckily, lack of any money for more spends prevented me from anything more than a casual glance now and again.

Have saved the photos though, just to torture myself with in a couple of months time...

Stuck a bid on, but frankly couldn't bring myself to bid anywhere near the sale price for a 501 frame. Looked great though.

Re:

Hopefully it'll reappear on Retrobike as a build project.
I was interested but it went above the price I had in mind (maybe I'm just a cheapskate ).
