bike has been given a half thorough clean but more to do.

She is 100% original

Mechanically this bike has barely turned a wheel, although the frame does have some patina from what can only be a lifetime in a shed and other bikes and garden tools.

Full dear head group.

Apparently they come in at 31 pounds but she doesn’t feel like that to ride, for some reason this bike bunny hops really easy, none of your american stylee, dont know if thats coz of longish wheel base

sorry for all the pics, got carried away and could not find many white 85 saracens on the net.

Will post more when completely bolt derusted, loobed and recabled

Although from very recent research the cranes bikes were 501 I think and this 531 bike was to commemorate

Anyone know why the change?

I have the ballentine crane book already but would love to read about the kilamanjaro conquest
