Santa Cruz Blur 4X Frame & Extras
I'll regret this but anyway... I fancy an Orange Five which means by trusty Blur 4X has to go.
Size: Medium (the smaller of the two sizes Santa Cruz did)
Shock: Fox Float RL (works fine - no need to be serviced)
Head Tube: 1.125"
Seat Tube: 30.9mm
This has been my trail bike for the last 3.5 years after I bought it as a spare ex-team frame from someone who raced for MBUK when they were sponsored by Santa Cruz. As such its had a pretty easy life but has coped with everything from a week in the Alps where it was superb to trail centres and being dragged up mountains. I've had it built in various guises but the current one seems to work best (150mm fork, 1x9 setup, Reverb, wide bars, flat pedals etc). Believe the hype - these frames really are as good as you've read they are and are comparable to the Blur TRc (which unfortunately is the wrong side of £2000 for the frame alone!).
Condition is very good. The frame was re-powdercoated professionally by Triple-S in Bingley earlier in the year (google them - they specialise in old motorbikes and stuff so they really know what they're doing) and at the same time had new decals, new Nukeproof headset (included) and new bearings throughout. The only noticeable mark on the frame is pictured - a cable rub mark that scored the metal slightly under the top tube. Its barely noticeable and is only 2cm long by about 4mm wide but I thought I'd better mention it. The rest of the frame has been taped and as such there is minimal cable rub and absolutely no dents/cracks/other nasties.
