Raleigh headbadge has three holes, this one has two very close to each other. So maybe seller's right that this is Dawes, with this headbadge:

It doesn't look as Dawes for me, although I don't know this brand well. Still Jasper looks decent and is handsome

Aside from the head badge does look like a raleigh with the oversize seat stay caps and design. Raleigh USA had a two hole badge lol I've got one in the garage so will look later.
