Local test ride help req'd...

If this type of topic isn't allowed in the area groups section then I apologise & feel free to move it.

I am looking to buy a new retrobike & if possible to help narrow the field down I wondered if any lincs area riders would be kind enough to let me have a short test ride any of the bikes in my shortlist below, beer (or cake) tokens can be exchanged.

Bikes I'm looking at are steel framed, size req'd is 17-18"

Kona Lavadome, Cinder Cone, Kilauea
Orange P7, C16
Specialized Rockhopper, Stumpjumper

I have an 18" Stumpjumper.

I've just got a Zaskar that will need a BB and headset supplying and fitting.

I'm sure we can work a deal based on this

If you can be arsed to come to grantham your welcome to play on my 94 cindercone , It's tiny though and I'd need to put a rear wheel in it . It's probably not set up to your liking either .

Pickle, would be interested in a test of your Stumpy, out of interest is it this one in your gallery?

Andy, yes it is. Only tweak since that pic is its now got a lower rise stem on

Anyone got a steel 18" Kona (Lavadome, Cindercone etc) I can test please?

My Kona is 13" center to center and 16" center to top .
