Styff Judy fork brace, SID carbon crown uppers

dusting off some winter projects!

i have acquired a nice judy FSX fork over the winter, and am now looking for a Styff carbon brace, either V, or canti.

also interested in a SID carbon black box crown / steerer assembly. going to try something...

I did that build several years ago. it takes more work than you'd think, but it does make a pretty lightweight fork.

Care to share any details? I've surely read about this build before, but it has been a while.

I currently have built up a first gen Sid crown/ steerer w my 97(?) Judy guts & lowers. Bolted right up.
 
OP, I have a complete SID race with the carbon blackbox that needs a service, and a carbon brace on a Judy SL.
