That's the newer Delrin rods (plastic) that they switched to in 1994 at some point,before that they where Aluminium.
I know it's 94 they switched as my bough BITD early 94s have Alu rods and I've devices and had many with the plastic.
You have steel stanchions though?
94 MAG21 had aluminium, not that that matters.

Sorry assumed it was the one pictured.
Just the E clip bit? You don't need that as it's just a stop for the adjuster undoing to far, which it doesn't when assembled.
