May be, depends on the type of 3D printing. 3D printing as a service is not so cheap as you might think. I personaly don't like this plastic things as replacements, especialy on a security part like brakes.
I did some tests, SLS is absolutly perfect, but too expensive. But I'm already in, I think it will be March to start with production - not with SLS, but milling or somehow casting
