Thought I'd share this recently acquired bike with you all.
Not a lot on net about this Netherlands frame builder however I understand he was active early/mid 20th century.
Recently refinished by C&G Liverpool -lugs picked out in gold & handwritten JoCo on downtube
Probably 531 given the tube sizes/seatpin & overall frame & forks weight
Tight clearances on wheels
Stratalite Alpiniste bars(50's)
Unknown stem
Airlite fixed/free large flange red hubs rebuilt onto Nisi Sludi sprint rims
Conti sprinter tubs
Orange Nitor saddle (very stiff......need to get used to it)
Drilling for front & rear brakes
Brampton bottom bracket & fluted cranks
Frame number on bracket puts it to 1953
I thinks it rather special & the chap who sold it has only seen one other JoCo bike in all his travels.....
Hunt now on for a nice pic of Chater Lea pedals to complete(+a brake or 2)
