1948(ish) Hill Special

quick and dirty build with bits for the garage just to check how the frame rides. First impression good. now for the work.
I'll get the frame done properly when i can decide on a colour. ideas appreciated. Catalogues suggest normal form lugs to be picked out.
The idea is for an everyday ride. Mostly fixed but I have a Sturmey FM to build up as an easy swap in. rims are gp4 and i think they'll stay, new tubs needed.
I will keep the GB bars and stem, but not sure about the levers, it will have brakes!
Wrights saddle to add, need to track down some Bluemels mudguards.
And all because I had another Hill special years ago, one of the lugless omes, same period, and it rode beautifully. Always wanted another and finally...

Looking forward to following this. I have a Road Path model sitting in the workshop waiting its turn. May be a while as it is one of the full chrome ones with a small amount of paint so will be rather pricey to refinish.
