THANKS FOR THE INTEREST EVERYONE - NOW SOLD
Hi all,
Campagnolo Record small flange hubs on Mavic Montherly Pro/Super Champion Competition tubular rims. Double butted chromed spokes. Regina 6 speed block. Skewers included.
Front hub is like new, absolutely buttery smooth with original campag grease. Rear is also very smooth, but is repacked with new grease (don't know why, just never as smooth as the campag grease!). Rear rim is flawless, perfectly true. Both rims hardly any sign of brake wear. Campag skewers are like new. Regina block is in excellent condition and clicks smoothly. These are very light wheels.
Bad bits: there is a small ding on the front rim probably from a pot hole (previous owner didn't say), the wheel is still perfectly true laterally - but you may notice a bump on one side of the rim when braking - (see 5th image). Next thing: the chrome on the spokes is a little bit pitted up close. Lastly, the Regina block's removal slots are scuffed from trying to remove with a screwdriver (see last two pics). Apart from these things, the wheels are beautiful. Original owner said he used them for a two or three time trials in the 80s - that's all the use they've had.
I am looking for 65 pounds posted.
Thanks for your interest, and let me know if you're interested.
Cheers,
Reuben
