Senior Retro Guru
Decided to have a clear out of some desirable frames -

1. Super rare Higgins Plus Parfait (Higgins top model), 1951, owned by one chap from 1953 until me, stunning. 21.5" seat tube, 122mm rear end. Headset, claret in colour, has headbadge, needs decals (easily obtained).

This is one for the true connoisseur (many think these are superior to Hetchins) - £175.00.

2. Allin Stan Butler Special (top model), 1959, one owner until me. Allin are rarely seen on the open market (Nervex Pro lugs). 22.25" seat tube, 122mm rear end pale blue flam in colour, needs head badge (available NoS) - headset and SR 52/42 chainset.

£125.00.

3. Rick Powell built badged Fred James. 1980s, nicely built frame, shot in stays, Prugnat long point lugs with heart shaped cut-outs. 21.5" seat tube, 130mm rear end, lovely orangey flam finish.

£75.00 (bargain).

These are all very high quality framesets. I've had a review of my"collection"and decided for one reason or another these should go. I'm not supplying images unless requested by a post and pm - don't wish to sound rude, but trying to deter window shoppers. Want to sell not desperate though; as attending cycle jumble soon.

I could be persuaded to part with my Bill Philbrook built Ken Bird - pm me if interested.

Cheers, Jon.

P.S prices exclude post, happy to pack but I'd request you arrange courier.

If you're fussy the top tube needs repainting (I've been quoted £30 to match it), this is a top quality frame.

The Rick Powell (badged Fred James) is still available, it is a very nice frameset, 531 throughout, nice lugs, nice seat cluster.

And a bargain.

Jon.
