I swore I'd never get a folding bike, but fate dealt me a hand I had to play. After much research, I decided that if I had to have a folding bike, it had to be a good one; step up Airnimal. I plumped for the stock joey sport as the basis for my build and set about making it my own (especially as the day I picked it up, I saw the exact same one on my commute home, and u couldn't have that).
After some changes here and there, it's ended up quite nice imho, with the only stock parts left being the frame, seat post and headset (which I will change for either a Chris king or hope). Not sure if the saddle will stay, have a full carbon jobby or a nuke proof Sam hill awaiting).
I'll add the full spec when I have more time, but it's wearing xtr m98x gearing, hope/sun ringle wheels, formula brakes, fsa chainset (bb386) and some rather lovely pace rc24 custom forks courtesy of fork English (top work).
I'd appreciate any feedback, my view is that if you are going to do something you really don't want to do, do it in style....
