Here's the saddle my friend gave me when I helped him rebuilt his 1990 Kona Cindercone. As you can see I have recovered it with leather using super strong adhesive and it looks like new... I've even re-fiited the little metal panel at the back using new screws. The rails are not mint however, but they could be sanded down and painted?
I used it for a couple of rides on my single speed before switching to my favourite Body Geometry saddle purely for extra comfort.
The leather jacket I used means it has a sewed seam down the middle of the saddle which gives it a vaguely kinky look All in all, a nice saddle recovered and perfect for a vintage Kona project.
