I have a barn find 1991 Saracen Trekker - almost complete for sale as I have no time to do anything with it and it is just clogging my garage
Now dismantled to inspect:
Bearings seem good (bb and headset)
Wheels and hubs need a rebuild but are original LX hubs and correct rims (though for some reason the spokes have been cut)
Frame is tatty but no cracks etc after inspection and requires decals and some over spray on the forks and a couple of components will need a rub down and respray
Forks and stem are the original oversized saracen jobbies
Now some of the good bits:
- mostly complete minus shifters and saddle
- Full LX drivetrain 7x3
- original XT headset (oversized)
- working magura hydro brakes (original)
- Farmer John tyres though they are old and a bit worn would be good for wall hanger
collection from Reading (UK) or pay for shipping
£100 (bearing in mind mostly complete but requires work to get rideable)
If it doesn't sell its going in my loft until i get the time to do something with it
