SOLD Bottecchia Yeti rare italian mtb. Modolo Rocky, Suntour

Italian mountain bikes from the late 80's are a rare kind...this one is a special one even amongst them.

Bottecchia Yeti lugged steel mountain bike with Columbus Tubi. All the components are original and in mint condition. Even the tyres and the handlebar grips.

- Columbus "Aelle Off Road" frame + fork + Miche Italy headset;
- Modolo Rocky cantilever brakes;
- Suntour XCD 6000 front and rear derailleur;
- Suntour XCD 6000 thumb shifters;
- Suntour XCD 6000 crankset with Sugino Cycloid chainrings;
- Suntour XCD 6000 pedals;
- Suntour XCD 6000 cassette;
- Suntour XCD 6000 brake levers;
- Modolo Rocky super wide handlebars;
- Suntour XC stem;
- ultra wide FIR ABX31 rims;
- SanSin Japan hubs;
- Michelin tires;
- San Marco Rolls saddle;
- Ursuss seat post QR skewer;

Seat tube is 50cm. Top tube 55cm. It has a quite decent weight for this type of bike, around 14,5kg.

No cracks, no dents, no rust, no over-used components, no stuck seatpost or other unpleasant surprises. Only minor paint chips and scratches. I really doubt that you will find anything like this in such good condition.

In 100% working order. It actually rides like a dream, this is one of my favorite rides, honestly. It's a pleasant mix of a cruiser and a mountain bike. Sturdy, reliable, comfortable yet surprisingly responsive. The only reason why I'm selling it is that I need $$$ for my framebuilding workshop.
